Since Russia has started attacking Ukraine SA students are seeking help in SA because they are afraid of the conflict happening between Russia and Ukraine. Some of the students have returned to SA safely but some are left behind and the government is trying its best to bring them safely.
Russia invades Ukraine after Russia officially recognized the two self-proclaimed separatist states in the Donbas. Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24 shocked the world, but President Vladimir Putin shows no sign of pulling back. President Putin not showing mercy to Ukraine’s citizens until he gets what he wants, Russian citizens want President Putin to stop the war, but he is not pulling back. The war continues, and Ukraine's economic rate is reducing, because the war countries that support Ukraine are sending goods to Ukraine citizens. Some Ukraine has vandalized shops, so they found the food to survive in this challenging time.
