Hawks investigation leads to farm allegedly used for drug manufacturing in Limpopo.

Two days after this incident, 4 freshmen from Mamellong Secondary School in Tsakane east of Johannesburg were additionally hospitalized after eating these cakes.
The Hawks in Limpopo say their investigations led to the discovery of many motors hidden on a farm that was allegedly used for drug manufacturing in Marble Hall, for two years.
The High Court in Polokwane has granted the Hawks and the National Prosecuting Authority in the province
Limpopo Hawks Spokesperson, Matimba Maluleka says capsules well worth over R10 million were seized and two suspected drug dealers arrested.
“While the members were conducting similarly investigations, they discovered a lot of cars that have been hidden on the farm. The court has given the Hawks Forfeiture Unit authority to retain the property such as the farm Pigeon Game Farm situated in Tswakraal in Marble Hall until the result of the forfeiture proceedings is instituted.”
Meanwhile, the Gauteng Education Department is concerned about a growing style of newcomers ingesting so-called house cakes or house cookies.
Earlier this month, eleven Grade 12 freshmen from Randfontein High School, west of Johannesburg, had been rushed to medical institution after they had fed on house cakes sold to them by way of any other Grade 12 learner who was then suspended.
