More rain and destructive in KwaZulu-Natal, as the death toll rises.

Two days ago, in KwaZulu Natal citizens have been attacked by powerful weather which results in 395 people being killed in the severe floods of KwaZulu-Natal. More than 40,700 individuals have been forced to flee the area. From Fridays and Saturdays, the state should expect more rain. The death toll from the KwaZulu-devastating Natal floods has risen to 395. According to the South African Weather Service, the increase in mortality is predicted to result in greater rainfall across most of the state.

One of the most damaged areas, the eThekwini subway, continued to repair damaged infrastructure such as roads, water, sanitation, and electricity. More than 40,700 people have been evacuated by widespread floods and landslides. People who have lost their belongings have been accommodated in halls, at school, and in churches.

KwaZulu-Natal Meyer has called on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Sipho Hlomuka to take proactive steps and provide on-the-ground assistance to local municipalities.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has called for prayers for flood-stricken people in the province during a Good Friday church address. As rescuers widened the search for dozens still missing five days after the disaster struck the south-eastern coastal city of Durban and surrounding areas, the official toll rose to 395 dead.

South African citizens in KwaZulu-Natal are facing a challenging time because of the flood that is happening there, the 'Brave' rescuer was swept away, and emergency efforts continue to save the baby and mom buried alive. Fears that a municipal official was swept away while attempting to rescue three children and that an 11-month-old baby was buried alive, were among the stories that surfaced in the aftermath of the torrential rains that pounded KwaZulu-Natal. The death toll surpassed three hundred on Wednesday evening and government officials are unable to keep track of the number of people who are missing.
